相互留学制度
24年目を迎える姉妹校交流。オーストラリア・エメラルド高校との相互留学制度。他校では見られない半年ごとの相互国際交流は、コロナ前までは3月に美作高校生がエメラルド高校へ、9月にはエメラルド高校生が美作高校へお互いにホームステイをしながらそれぞれの文化を体験してきました。
コロナになり、相互に行き交う交流はできていません。また、来年3月の訪問に関しては、エメラルド高校の都合で訪問ができなくなりました。1年後の訪問再開に向けて連絡を取り合っています。

Mutual study abroad program with Emerald High School in Australia.
Before the coronavirus, Mimasaka High School students went to Emerald Secondary college in March, and in September, Emerald Secondary college students came to Mimasaka High School to do homestays and experience each other's cultures.
Due to the coronavirus, we have not been able to interact with each other. Also, regarding the visit in March next year, we will not be able to visit due to circumstances at Emerald Secondary college. We are keeping in touch with the aim of resuming visits in March, 2025.
オーストラリアエメラルド高校へ《短期留学（3週間）/3月》
その国の本当の文化を知るためには、その国で過ごし肌で感じるのが一番。毎年3月、現地エメラルド高校で3週間ホームステイをしながら授業を受けたり、観光ツアーでは行かないような名所へ出かけたりと、さまざまな経験から見聞を広めます。
The best way to get to know the true culture of the country is to spend time in that country and feel it. Every March, students learn from a variety of experiences, such as taking classes while staying at a local Eemarald Secoudary College for three weeks or going out to sightseeing spots that are not available on sightseeing tours.
エメラルド高校の生徒が来日
彼らは「日本文化」を、君たちには「生きた英会話」を。毎年9月、エメラルド高校の生徒が来日。3週間のホームステイをしながら本校で授業を受けたり、さまざまな日本文化（書道・茶華道・着物の着付けなど）を体験します。さらに、本校生徒と広島を訪問し、一緒に平和について考えます。またオージーカルチャーショーでは、彼らの歴史や文化も紹介してくれます。
They have "Japanese culture" and you have "living English conversation". Every September, students from Eemarald Secoudary College visit Japan. Students take classes at our school while experiencing a three-week homestay and experience various Japanese cultures (calligraphy, tea ceremony, kimono dressing, etc.). In addition, we visit Hiroshima with our students and think about peace together. The Aussie Culture Show also introduces their history and culture.
旗美高校へ《修学旅行》
修学旅行で旗美高校を訪問します。旗美高校独自の授業体験や歓迎式典など、姉妹校ならではの経験をすることができます。
我們將在學校旅行中訪問旗美高中。悠可以體驗姐妹學校的獨特體驗，例如在旗美高中的獨特課堂體驗和歡迎儀式。
